Busy, busy! Chisel patterning in Farnham

3/19/26 - Busy, busy! I’ve been doing more chisel patterning here in Farnham than I ever do at home. I’m pushing hard to get as many discs patterned as I can before my next lesson with master metal spinner Stefan Coe next week.
I’m loving these patterns, based on the uk landscape - abstracted fields, roads, streams, ancient pathways. I’m looking forward to seeing how the patterns change and distort when formed into a cup shape. It’ll be a bit like how time changes the landscape, and also distorts our memories.
