Your privacy is important and we hate spam as much as you do. We make every effort to maintain any personal information you provide in a secure manner and it is used only by your express consent for the purposes you provide it for. We do not sell or in any way share any of the participant information we collect.
Safety is of utmost importance to us. Everyone is required to wear closed toed shoes while in the Lab, loose hair must be pulled back and safety glasses and ear protection are available and required. We also sell safety equipment, if you prefer not to use the shared shop items. Participants are required to comply with all provided safety procedures, rules, regulations, and instructions.
Cancellation policies: For single-day workshops and on-going classes, please give us 10 days notice to receive a 100% refund. Due to the time and cost involved with arranging teachers, preparing materials kits and other details, we cannot offer refunds within 10 days of an event. For visiting artist workshops, please give us 30 days notice to receive an 80% refund (20% of the purchase price is a non-refundable deposit). Again, due to the time and cost involved with arranging a visiting instructor, preparing materials kits and other details, we cannot offer refunds within 30 days of a visiting artist workshop.
Late registrations: did you hear about a great class but miss the first session? No worries, we are happy to accept late enrollments for our multi-week classes whenever space is available up until the second class. Go ahead and register online and then contact us to let us know about your late registration. We'll provide you an account credit equivalent to the missed first class. You can then use the credit towards any of our other classes (except visiting artist workshops) and/or open lab time. Win-win!
Make up sessions: miss a class, get a lab pass for an equivalent number of hours. Our multi-day classes are carefully planned to build skills and knowledge week to week. However, if you know you'll miss a day (or encounter a childcare hiccup, unexpected hamster death, etc.) let us know and we can provide a makeup lab pass. Stop by the Concierge Desk during class or if you're not at the Lab, send us an email letting us know the class date missed. Note: this applies to an entire day (not just a missed hour or so) and if you haven't done so already, you'll need to complete a Lab Safety Orientation prior to using the Lab.
Early Bird Registrations, when available, require payment to hold. If payment is not received within 3 business days, the spot the seat will be opened back up.
Photographs and video may be taken at our classes, workshops and events. By taking part, you grant the event organizers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography and video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the group’s aims. This might include, but is not limited to, the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, and press releases. If you do not wish to be photographed, simply inform an Anneville representative and we’re happy to oblige.
Finishing the demonstrated projects in our classes and workshops depends on each student’s skill level, project complexity, and other factors. In our fast-paced, info-packed classes we do our best to coach everyone toward a finished project but please understand that additional time may be needed after the class to complete the work. We offer ongoing independent study opportunities for this purpose.
Open Lab usage is for intermediate to advanced students who have completed our Lab Safety Orientation. Open Lab time does not include instruction, tool demos, design help or other assistance. Think of it as a library where the items are at your disposal but there is no one to help you learn to read. Our lab techs are on hand to help you find things, promote student safety, and monitor proper/safe tool use. For those that need instruction, we offer fun, ongoing independent study opportunities instead.
Information contained in our website, online profiles and printed materials is deemed reliable, but not guaranteed. All information, events, and/or prices are subject to change or withdrawal. Every effort is made to provide information that is accurate. However, information is subject to change at any time and we shall not be held responsible for typographical errors, misinformation, or misprints.
Guests (friends, family, etc.) are not permitted in our open lab, classes, and workshops; only paid participants are allowed. Instead, bring your peeps to our monthly open studio events; they are lots of fun.
Participation in our events is provided with no special warranty either express or implied and is considered “at your own risk.” We assume no liability for loss, theft, damage, or injury to property or persons whether arising in contract, negligence, equity or otherwise.
General Provisions: you agree that you shall not bring any legal action against any of Anneville representatives for any claim waived and released under this Agreement. You further agree that should you bring any type of administrative or legal action arising out of claims waived under this Agreement, you will bear all legal fees and costs, including those of Anneville representatives. You hold harmless, release, and forever discharge Anneville representatives from all claims, demands, and causes of action which you, your heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on your behalf or on behalf of your estate have or may have by reason of this authorization. Anneville Jewelry Lab reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason and to anyone who chooses not to accept the terms of this Agreement.
