Metal Arts Society of Southern California At Anneville Jewelry Lab February 8 & 9th, 2020 - 2 day intensive Learn the traditional Japanese method of patterning mokume-gane; using a chisel to carve into the surface of blank mokume-gane to create rivers of pattern. After hammering the sheet back to flat, the unique patterns are locked into the metal forever. Participants will create patterned sheets the first day, then have the option of creating a finished pendant the second day, and/or creating their own mokume gane chisel.
