Hi Anne-
I had a question. I have the powdered Cupric Nitrate I use for silver fusing. For that, I add Flyr-Fire to the chemical. I didn't hear how you prepped your C.N. patina. Did you just add water? Any particular ratio? I love the aqua color this patina makes and I can't wait to give it a try.
Thank you,
Sarah

Hi Sarah -
I was sharing how great David Huang's patina class was - he doesn't really measure the amounts much though, he teaches you to recognize the color and how the patina is acting, then adjust the strength as needed. That wasn't really something I felt I should share, as it should be David teaching you that.
For a how-to, I'd recommend this article by Charles Lewton-Brain - https://www.ganoksin.com/article/cupric-nitrate-patination-of-metals/ - it'll give you a recipe and step-by-step. It's great. Happy patinating!
